Cisco Live 2023 – Celebration Musical Lineup Announced! Also, NetVet Scheduling Update

This year on Wednesday night of Cisco Live, we’ll be rocking out to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, both individually as well as collaboratively. The Cisco Live Celebration will be held in the Allegiant Stadium and there will be buses both from the conference hotels (which, technically, Mandalay Bay is both the conference center and a conference hotel).
Looking at a map … you’d think it would be be possible to walk from Mandalay Bay to the stadium – but it’s across Interstate 15, and while there’s a road (Mandalay Bay Road, actually) apparently going over I-15, I’ll have to think about it – not sure I want to be outside in Las Vegas for a walk for that long, especially if the sun is in the sky at the time.
If this will be your first time at the Celebration, let me give you a rundown:
- You may need to pick up a wrist band that would replace the need for you to wear your lanyard to the event
- There will be a hat
- There will be free beer and wine
- There will be free soda
- There will be free food
Oh yeah, and this year, Blake and Gwen!
EDIT: 2023-03-29: I’ve seen a tweet that suggests April 18 will be the target date for opening the course scheduler to registered NetVets! Usually a week after that is when it would open for non-NetVets.
