UnifiedTrees 1.0 Cacti Plugin: Major Update

$JOB’s Cacti multi-server infrastructure has been running fine on Cacti 0.8.8b and UnifiedTrees 0.8. However, Cacti 0.8.8f is out and the trees are done quite differently. It’s time to update $JOB’s Cacti infrastructure and to make UnifiedTrees compatible, it had to undergo some major changes.

DPDiscover 1.51: Cacti Plugin

I wrote a Cacti plugin I called DPDiscover – Discovery Protocol Discover, which uses LLDP, CDP, and FDP information pulled from SNMP to ‘spider’ a network and attempt to automatically add equipment to Cacti. It is heavily based off of the original “Auto Discovery” plugin that would sweep IP ranges.
